Victor was born in New Castle, a small town in Western Pennsylvania.  Two weeks after graduating high school he was on a plane to Phoenix to spend the next four years attending Arizona State University, where he graduated with honors and a degree in Marketing – while also managing to take every possible writing and film course the University had to offer at the time.  Upon graduation he moved to Chicago and spent the next four years working as a Buyer for True Value Hardware's corporate headquarters.  However, an opportunity presented itself to Victor in 2004 and he made the Northern move to Wausau, Wisconsin.

 

 

Privacy Statment

His solid work ethic and determination has helped him climb from a Financial Analyst to a Senior Buyer to his current position as the Purchasing Manager for one of this nation’s number one home manufacturers.  This career path has given him the ability to conduct business all over the United States and even China.  

 

When he is done working at the office Victor manages to spend his evenings working on his comic books and films/videos.  Persistence has been key as Victor has learned many lessons in the field of self-publishing over the past 8 years.  This persistence has started to pay off as Benderspink is working to option Paper Street Comic’s first series "Pencilneck" and by the end of 2009 there will be three additional series flying under the company’s banner.

 

Victor plans to build off of this current momentum in hopes of one day transitioning to a full-time creative role or position with an ongoing comic series, while working on independent or studio-funded films.
